First Day: Four days later

So... packing a 40 (sounds like a big number, right? False.) square foot trailer with everything you might need for a couple months was harder than we thought it would be. Between not having as enough room to take everything we thought we wanted, cleaning up the house, saying goodbye to the kitties (and mom and dad, of course) it took us a wee bit longer to actually leave than we'd originally anticipated. The funny (albeit embarrassing too) thing is, we've had all month since the wedding to get ready for the trip but didn't really start packing until a week  ago.  Of course, anyone that knows us probably isn't all that surprised but somehow I'm always surprised at us when we find ourselves at the last minute with nothing done. But here we are at the end of the first day all snug and warm-ish (Lewisburg is FREEZING!) at a hotel no worse for the wear.  We're headed to the Grand Canyon of PA tomorrow on the recommendation of some family and then weather-permitting, we'll be heading up to New England.
